Newbie to the site. Hi to all !
Hi all,
I'm Dave, an engineer who is getting into flight sims. As I am a programmer, mainly inndustrial PLC's and Microchip chips (brilliant devices) I am going to build in the future a 737 cockpit in my spare room! Anyone tried it yet? I will be making all my own instruments and puting the programming skills to use.
Feel free to contact me, guidelines needed !
Regards to all

Hi Dave,
Welcome to Mycockpit.
Yep, currently building in the "spare room", as long as I can keep claims on it
Cheers

I think most of us here are building flight simulators
It's worse than swine flu the way the urge to simbuild goes when you join this site LOL
Please keep us updated on your build and nice to have you with us.

Hi Dave, welcome. Very ambitious to build all the instruments yourself. Besides the spare room you must have a lot of spare time
Keep us posted!Arjen

Hi Dave and welcome. Go to the gallery and have a look around. We all have the flue!!! Lots of GREAT cockpits in the gallery to see and help inspire you.

Re: Newbie to the site. Hi to all !
hi dave.......and welcome
building in the spare room eh! i remember somewhere in my dark past doing that.
it then progresses to the den because the spare room is too small and before you know it,
half the garage is un-useable.
still it keeps you out of pubs and supermarkets......
enjoy your project mate and please do keep us updated.....
