Re: Cessna 172 Sim from Finland says Hi to everybody
Hi,
we were very lucky to get it free of charge. The fuselage was in really bad condition first and we had to basically tore it down and buid most of the parts again from plywood and aluminum. The fuselages are under a rock also here in Finland. I only know that you could get plenty of parts if you were living in USA but unfortunately here in Europe it is just pure luck to get one.

Thanks for the reply,
I have seen the pictures, I am very impressed.

Carbheat knob is original. We are using standard electronics switch that is working ON/OFF.
when the lever is pulled all the way back the swich turns on.
You can choose from FS2004 aircraft.cfg if the plane is using typical carburetor with carb temp or injection model. By changing this you now have
a possibility to use carb temp by adding a command button for it via FSUIP.

We are using Flight1 Cessna 172 flight model:
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=esd172
At the preset settings this do not have carb temp but you can go and choose it from FS2004 main folder -> aircraft.cfg.
Make the changes and just save the file.

Love the sim, absolute superb!
You have the biggest advantage....and that's having a cockpit shell, half the work is already done in terms of measurements and panel building!
First class product and well done!
