Hello From Felixstowe - UK
Hi,
By way of introduction, I have been flying sims for a number of years now and currently use MS FSX. My main interest is the 737 and when I retire later this year my wife and I are moving to Spain. This is where the fun starts as like many of you, I aim to build my own cockpit. I already have a spare room set aside for the project over there and have my dear wifes blessing.
I have already started to equip myself with a few bits and pieces in readiness for when PMDG release the new 737NG for FSX which will hopefully be later this year.
This is where I have encountered a problem in relation to my new MCP 737NG from Open Cockpits.
I will not go into detail here as this is the welcome area but needless to say, I hope to speak with some of you in another thread when I try explain my tale of woe.
All the best for now.

Garfield,
Welcome to MyCockpit.
Sounds like you have a really good sidekick there, just don't ever tell her how much the stuff actually costs, and you will be on her good side.. Best of luck, and looking forward to seeing more of your project.

Thanks guys for the welcome.
I am sure I will have many questions in the future. It is nice to see that having studied the topics thus far, some may already have been answered. I have just got my new Opencockpits MCP 737NG up and running that was causing me a head ache for the last few days.
I shall not start any building work until we have moved but it is fun planning !!!
Thanks again.

Just remembered that open cockpits is based in spain, that must be really handy too as you will probably be able to get your parts delivered much quicker, cheaper and safely!

Already thought of that and have been in contact with them.
Lets hope they are not to far from where I will be living.
