New Zealand Earthquake
I hope our New Zealand friends are OK.
They just got hit with a 7.3 earthquake off their coast.

Hope they are OK. That is a really heavy earthquake. The world is actually a small place regarding our passion for simulated aircrafts. We know people from all corners of the world.

My thoughts are with them too. Been in Japan during a couple milder ones. Not a pleasant experience.

I want to thank Fox News for that misinformation.... seems it was at or around JAKARTA, Indonesia and had a preliminary magnitude of 7.5 and was centered about 66 miles east of Jakarta.

I love that site.
I started looking at a bunch of links on building your own siesmometer. Cool stuff.
I've read up quite a bit on the Wabash Valley rift system and the New Madrid system. Really ancient stuff.
