Boeing 747-400 Flight Model
Quick request for input and guidance....
First of all, I'm using the full suite of PM software for my 744 and not
using my FS9 server computer for any screen guidance at all. I imported the
PSS aircraft data file for the CDU/type and modified it per the PM
instructions to add cost index, modify TOGA functions, etc. and that all seems to be
working well.
I'm wondering, since I've always been loading the default FS9 747, are there
modifications to the aircraft.cfg file for the 747, or other models that
one can simply replace the default cfg file for the default with to obtain
more "realistic" performace -- pitch, roll, braking, etc. over the default.
Any thoughts?

Re: Boeing 747-400 Flight Model
Hi Jon,
I think it is very difficult to find a correct FS9 B744, except from the
PMDG one, which is as realistic as possible but unfortenately totally
uncompatible with PM and very difficult to use in a cockpit project due to
the lack of interface information.
Presently I'm using the airfile, modified by Pedro Oliveira, which is better
than the default one. (Can be found in flightsim.com)
Together with PMSystem, there is already alot that can be done, to bring
your PM programs inline with the B744.
Of course we are still faraway from the status where the B737 is already
in.
