Warning sound autopilot

I know this has been discussed already, but I still couldn't manage to turn off the warning sound after disengaging the autopilot.

It regularly happens to me, when I am in final approach. Then I have to listen to it until landing, parking and finally turning off power.

I read, that "w" key needs to be pressed? But this doesn't work... Do I need to press it on the FSX pc or on my network pc where the FCU software is? Or am I on the wrong path?

You can set Master Warning with any key on your joystick, after disengage AP press that button to silent the siren and there will be a triple click sound (CAT 3 downgraded to CAT 1)
In real airbus, this sound automatically shutdown without touching any button.

ok, "Master Warning" is the name of the Jeehell controll, that I have to program to that button?
I believe I tried this one before, but didn't show any effect. Will try again...

I believe in FMGS_Config, Its event name is CPT MW (Captain Master warning), sorry I do not have the server computer here to make screen shot.

Hi!

There are two different ways to turn off the autopilot. The AP on/off button on the FCU and a AP disengage button on the sidestick.

If you use the FCU button the siren sounds every time you disable the autopilot and you have to push the master warning button to get it off.
If you use the sidestick button there is no siren sound (only at the realy short final, but I don't know the precise criteria).

All that buttons (FCU AP off, CS Sidestick AP off and FO Sidestick AP off) you can find at the FMGS controls configurator and even as FSUIPC offsets.



Edit: Does someone know the criteria for the "AP off" warning sound at the short final?
