A320 FCU Rotary Knobs
Hi!
Very short question.. I did not find the answer after an extensive search, even on YouTube.
Are the rotary knobs on the FCU (for selecting speed, heading, altitude and vertical speed) potentiometers or rotary switches? Of course, they can be turned unlimited, but are there "detents" when turning, or do they turn freely?
Thank you!

I guess that by detents he means the clicks when you turn the rotaries those exist in the real unit!
