    G1000 using second PC?

    Hi guys

    I'm looking to build a GA cockpit fitted with a G1000 using 2x 10.4 inch monitors running FSX.

    I'm aware of several G1000 program's for FSX but I know they can severely reduce the performance when run together on the same PC.

    My question is; which if any can be run from a separate PC networked to the FSX computer and what addition software (ie widefs) would I require?

    If they use FSUIPC they can be remoted using WideClient/WideServer. If they're SimConnect based (FSX and P3D), they can also be remoted.
