Fly Engravity Mip - gear lever - gear goes up or down on its own....
Hi,
I have a Fly Engravity Mip, CPFlightPro MCP and I use prosim737 to run the gauges.
I am now encountering a problem I have not seen before.
The gear will go up or down by itself, obviously the gear lever stays where it is but several times during a flight the wheels will come down or go up on their own with no input from me. This is making a mess of my FsPassengers flights........
I suspect it is either some dodgy wiring or a problem with Prosim737 taking control.
But if it is one of those problems why have I been flying without any issues up to now.?
Any ideas.?
Allan.

Re: Fly Engravity Mip - gear lever - gear goes up or down on its own....
Hi Allen,
To determine this problem, I suggest the following:
1-Disconnect the Gear lever connectors from your I/O board, fly fore a while and see if it happens again.
If not, there is a problem whit your wiring/switches what causes this behavior.
2-Are there other inputs i.e. your keyboard that pushes the "G" button?
3-Remove the gear lever handle input from the joystick input list in the flightsim settings list, and see whats happening.
Good luck

Hi,
Just to update...
It was a sticky switch on the gear lever. I put a bit of WD40 on the mechanism and it seems to be working ok now.
