Before and After Pictures - or how to get a 737 into a business jet....
I think it is about time I documented my progress. Here are some pictures of the sim so far.
Very pleased with the outcome, even if I say so myself.
Ordered the tv's, still a lot of finishing touches but it is now flyable (when the tv's arrive)

Now that, sir, is nice. Similar to what I'm trying to achieve in my own project (though I'm building from scratch, shell and all).
Any chance you could post what the measurements (base width / base depth) of your seats are? They look like they came from an MPV, similar to the Ford Galaxy seats I have. What width is the pedestal / TQ there? That's the bit that's most worrying me since I have a maximum width of 2m to play with overall.

The seats are 47cm wide, 60cm depth (not including recline) and 88cm high. They come from a Sharran and are a good fit and very comfortable.
The TQ is 20cm at its narrowest and widens out to 39cm.
The cockpit is 1.7 metres at its widest point.
It is a good feeling to get the bulk of the work done, now it is the fun parts, such as trying to get the overhead working. Hopefully a bodnar card and some late night soldering will sort that out.
Allan.

Absolutely fantastic is all i have to say. I remember the first post from when you were gleaming with your new purchase and it's fair to say you have certainly transformed it into a masterpiece. I take it you don't have the room for a projector setup, but i think largeish screens will work great too.
You just need a Boeing TQ in there now, infact give me a few weeks and i might be able to fix you up with something on that front.
Cheers

Stop it, youre making me blush.
Nope, no room for a projector, but hopefully the triple tv set up will look the business.
As for the TQ, I am afraid that I dont want the expense of a 737TQ and will make do with the one I have now, which is not ideal. I may even get the power tools out and "make one".
Cheers me dears,
Allan.
