New Projector Project
Today I decided to change up my 3 24" monitors/th2go for 2 EX5200 Epson Projectors/dh2go. These were the first test flights. Tomorrow will be for cable management and then I will work on the cockpit build.

Re: New Projector Project
Hi!
Its a huge update for your cockpit!
¿Why these projectors? I think you can cover the whole screen size with just one short throw widescreen.
¿Have you plan to use nthusim, warpalizer, immersive display lite, etc. to blend your inner edges?
I think you can do a little curved screen to avoid your hard sidewall angles, and you gain very immersive sensation!Greetings!

Re: New Projector Project
I have lowered the projectors and aligned the middle seam perfectly.

Re: New Projector Project
I am considering to make a curved screen and using Nthusim...will this be a big improvement? (dual projectors with a matrox dualhead2go, gtx 280)
Anybody able to send me a link of a dual projector setup with nthusim?

Re: New Projector Project
Well Sunday was project day. After the TIR test I decided to use the opportunity to streamline my cockpit...I like to keep it minimal and multiple cockpit friendly as I regularly fly all kinds of GA.
Currently as you can see I am using a monitor for the instruments..which I think works great...and allows me to switch between planes easily, however, if I do choose to go with a panel option I would appreciate some advice on the following:
1. I suppose I could create a cover over the monitor to give the impression of gauges...but I would prefer a set up to allow me to fly a variety of GA.
2. I could buy (6) saitek panels shown here: http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_i...oducts_id=2106
3. Next would be the VR Inight panels: http://www.flightsimstore.com/produc...roducts_id=897
http://www.fspilotshop.com/product_i...oducts_id=2561
4. Also are there are Simkits usb instruments: http://www.simkits.com/products.php?groupid=54
5. I recently became aware of http://scflightpanels.com.au/ but I cannot find a video anywhere of them in use...but at that price it definitely looks good.
Does anybody have any experience with any of these and/or any advice?
Here are the latest sets of photos and videos. Sorry for some of the video...I was tilting the camera sideways but forget it does not auto rotate.
