Just pretty cool video. A couple of thoughts. Not really suggesting you go long periods without working on the sim (again ) but should you do that. You could cover your sim with a large drop cloth used for painting to keep anything from hitting it or dust from the surface. Also I have a link for you if I haven't given it already?

This site has a near complete FCOM (Flight Crew Operations Manual) for the Boeing 737NG. You can download in the chunks you need in PDF form and print at your convenience. I think it's here too but you may find more complete info there.. Personally I would get all of them. Then you can print what you want and chuck the rest. When building a sim of this complexity there is no point in being anything less then thorough.

The stuff on the left of the page is aircraft specific while the stuff on the right is more general in nature.

I hope the re-framing of the roof goes well. I almost wish I lived in the Netherlands so I could help. Stuck in Canada for a while though it would seem... As always looking forward to your next video.

Hello everyone

I've finally got myself to create an account here too.

I will start to introduce myself.

My name is Stian Alexander Hoddevik.

Together with Kjetil I own 737 The Norwegian Project. I am 30 years old and have my background as naval officer. Novadays, I sail offshore in the north sea as a first mate.

I live on the northwest coast of Norway, so its a couple of miles between me and Kjetil. Still we see each other a lot when time allow us to.

My interest in airplanes and aviation have been great ever since early childhood.

First and foremost, I would like to thank Kjetil for all the great work he has put into our project. In addition to countless hours working on the shell, he has done a fantastic job of promoting our project here at mycockpit and elsewhere.

Me and Kjetil became known through just our hobby a few years back. Since then a lot has happened and we just become like a family. The big step to the simulator building was seriously taken almost a year ago. The idea have been there for years, but finnaly we stand here with an full-scale cockpit. Just cant wait to start the work at the inside

As Kjetil says, so it now appears that we begin to slowly come back up and running, but since we live on different sides of the country, I just dont have the opportunity to be there all the time, but now we focusing on trying to do as much as we can when I go over there.

I would also like to thank all of you that voted for us during the builder of the month election. It is a honor to get this price on an global community

Really hope that you all still follow us on the road to a full scale cockpit

Welcome aboard Stian.

There are tons of inspiration and great advice and tips here. I've been following your building since your first pictures/videos went up and admired with great envy your skills as a beginner. We all are in many different ways here as I don't think there are any pro builders here (I could be wrong though so don't quote me). My project is somewhat less in scope to yours I'm building an amphibious Cessna A185F cockpit. I wanted something that I could land pretty well anywhere. In a real world aircraft it would use fuel like crazy but in the sim fuel is just a trip to the virtual fuel island or a click of the mouse.

Hope you enjoy your stay and as always keep us updated as to your progress. We here at Mycockpit love the updates..

Welcome, I am glad the Norwegian 737 project appears to coming back to life. I have watched all the youtube videos and look forward to more progress on your beautiful project.

Hello everybody...

Well, yesterday was quite a productive day where I got alot done. I started working on the sim around 1pm, and my brother in law Juan came over around 6pm. After a few hrs, we needed a break.
