Looking for a 3DOF motion platform for ride films
Hi everyone,
We are looking for a 3DOF platform for short educational ride films (kids and adults). It should be able to carry between 6 to 8 people.
Any tips for a serious AND affordable company/individuals are highly appreciated.
Offers so far range from 20.000 - 25.000 euros
We are flexible to order it from Europe or USA.
Thanks!
Peter

Re: Looking for a 3DOF motion platform for ride films
Have you checked http://www.inmotionsimulation.com/products.html?
They have 3DoF that could meet your requirements.
6~8 person 3DoF needs to carry a lot of weight, which will make it expensive. Not sure you can find commercial grade platforms below 20.000 euro's. 2DoF would be much easier and cheaper.RR

Thanks, Roland!
It looks like most of these companies are set up by engineers who left defense/aero/space corps, stepping partially into the entertainment market.
Payload is an issue you can’t escape indeed!
