Building into my room
Hi!
First of all this is my current cockpit:
And this is my control panel closeup:
And below the desk:
As you can see I don't have much space...
I am still dreaming of a B737 cockpit, I've been thinking of making the overhead first.
To be exact the light panel, the closest part to windshield:
I have bought the electronics for that panel already.
The main question is that how am I going to place it?
Hanging from the roof? My mom is not going to like that idea...
And also should I make it to scale and prepare it for later addons to panels?
Thanks!

Re: Building into my room
How about getting a simple aluminum structure made over your current setup? It shouldn't be too costly or hard to make at a local metal shop.

Re: Building into my room
The Roger Dodger system is what I pretty much have, a frame doesn't add up to realism much.

Re: Building into my room
Well you asked, "The main question is that how am I going to place it?" If you have the Universal Airliner you can fasten your panel to the top section rather than having another keyboard there. You may have to adjust some of the tubing to make for a sturdy place to fasten your panel to. Good luck with your cockpit.
