Has anyone had look at the IFly 737. Looks very promising to cockpit builders. Wish I had the talents of you guys. Bet you will make this awesome.

Re: IFly 737
What I do not understand is that you post a question like this in a category that is not meant for aircraft discussions. Secondly, you initially started a thread on the iFly 737 when it came out a few weeks ago, your original thread can be found here: http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/show...highlight=ifly
This is just a waste of bandwidth!!

Re: IFly 737
Oh I am so sorry if I have upset you! and indeed wasted any bandwidth or anyones time. Certainly I didn't expect that attack on THIS forum(which I have always found to be the most friendly and helpful of places) nor from you in particular(whose build I have followed closely and who indeed I have exchanged messages with).
I purchased this addon plane last week and was simply letting fellow cockpit builders know of the potential it may have. Like many others I have ben trying to build around the PMDG737 but they are not producing an updated FS9 version.
I was hoping someone would be working around the IFly and I could learn from them. Thought that was the purpose of this forum.

Re: IFly 737
I did not mean to offend you. I just do not see the point of your second post, which was identical to the first one an in a not entirely correct category.
But lets leave it at that, .. otherwise we really will be wasting bandwidth.

Andrew
I agree the Category was a mistake. Sometimes a post gets "buried" so I reposted. I was very surprised that no one else was yet " into" this new plane especially after all the posts re other aircraft not being easy to deal with in cockpit building. I also agree we just leave it now.

Re: IFly 737
Hi Guy's
Just to let everyone know where things stand for sim builders and the iFly 737. The team has just released V2 of the interim patch and the SP will be completed next. Once that has been done we will be working with CPflight, Goflight, open cockpits and some other companies to ensure the aircraft is compatible with the available hardware and this will be free. We will also try and make a SDK available for anyone that wishes to create their own driver. They are also working on there own utility for adding switches etc.
I am sure the development team regret having a sim builder supporting the aircraft, because I am creating a lot of extra work for them but it would be just wrong for this aircraft not to achieve it's true potential.

Re: IFly 737
Bill,
Thanks for reposting it a second time! I've not even heard of iFly737, and would not have until I saw this post of yours in the "What's New" tab, today...

Re: IFly 737
Cheers John. A new 737 for FS9 is great. FSX version to follow also. I have bought this plane and really love it. It is still in the early release stages but is a joy to fly and has a wonderful and friendly support team.
