Leds
What kind of leds people here are using for pushbuttons? I made my own korry replicas and i am pretty much happy about my work but lights are still pain in my as*...Now i use 3mm. white leds (for autopilot buttons, vnav, lnav etc...) with 20 degrees angle for each button...It doesnt look good, too sharp and light spots on 3mm area not as wide as i want (to cover whole text). Buttons are 19mm x 19 mm each.
Any ideas?
Regards

Re: Leds
I've used wide angle leds for similar applications with good results. Use "flat top leds" as a search term on ebay. You'll get screen fulls.

Re: Leds
Hello B763
Use a 2 to 3 mm diffusion element between your LED and the label.
