How to add exec-light on open cockpit FMC
i want to get the open cockpit fmc, but there's no EXEC-light or other msg-lights on it. And I dont quite get how to add those. They talk about a mastercard, but which should i get - and is the lights actually included on the FMC - or should i somehow solder new lamps or ..

Nope, the CDU comes with no LEDs. You must drill them in yourself, then wire them to the Mastercard and finally implement them in a SIOC script.

Hello jesper I got your pm. I did it as mentioned before. I added my own LEDs and wired them to the master card. I also use the USB expansion card which allows you to easily connect the master card via USB. Remember you also get additional inputs and outputs with the master card. As another choice you could use their USB Output card for led outputs. It sounds difficult but it's not and you gotta think about all the other things you can do with this boards. The oc fmc is great for the price!

Can the FMC from OC stand on a table or does it need to be mounted to a pedistal or so? how deep is it in cm?
