Does somebody has opinions about the throttle of ThrottleTek?
Hi guys! I'm new here in MyCockpit.org and writing from Brazil.
I'm would like to know some opinions about the product (throttle) build by ThrottleTek... Can you help me?
I don't have enought money at the moment to enjoy a big one, like others in the net, so I just can do a little investment at the moment.

Re: Does somebody has opinions about the throttle of ThrottleTek?
Hi
Well I can't tell much about it right now, but I have placed an order with Throttletek and it should be here in the next few weeks. From what I can see, they look pretty good for the money and the reviews I have read say the same thing. I was in your postion, I couldn't afford the top end kind of stuff but a wanted to get away from the CH Products. Once it comes in I'll let you know what I think.
Cheers
Chris

Re: Does somebody has opinions about the throttle of ThrottleTek?
Hi Charles
Well I received my throttle today and well.......I have some good news.......and some bad news.
The good news, Its a fine piece of kit, its well presented and the craftsmanship isn't too bad.
Now the bad news, It arrived brokenThe packaging was damaged and when I opened it up, one of the throttle arms was broken. I have been in touch with Roberto and we are currently working out a way to repair it. I have suggested to Roberto to have a look at the way he packs the unit as there really doesn't seem to be much in the way of shock protection. Roberto was very concerened that it was broken and so far he has been very helpful. I guess now I will just have to wait a little longer before I can play with my toy. Oh well I guess this means I will just have to continue on building my overhead panel while I wait.
I would send you the photos of the damaged unit but I think it would be best if I sent one of it once it is fixed.
Regards
Chris

Chris,
Couldn´t you test it like it is? (only for your impressions about performance, for example)
I would like to see the photos too, ok?
