But in 4-5 years perhaps it will be budget priced
Come on, we can buy a 50" LCD TV now for $500; if you said that 5 years ago I would have called you crazy.

I am not interested in 4/5 years time. In any event I doubt that projectors have shown a similar percentage drop in price, there is not the same sales volume/market demand

Projectors will always be blimmin expensive, they are now... will still be in 1 year....10 years....and 100 years I recon! I dont like the fact that projectors have a light bulbs that cost almost as much as the projector itself. Very expensive no matter what way you look at it! You're paying to fuel a light bulb to burn itself out and buy another one when it blows! Crazy! With LCDs theres none of that!
