This weekend I'm hoping to mount my cockpit seats (a BMW car seat) onto a wooden frame.

I've tried looking at many images on Google and also trying to find some general Airbus seat height measurements - just so I can at-least get a rough idea of what sort of distance I should have between the floor of the cockpit and the pilots bum.

Could anyone help me? - From the look of it (from photos) it looks as if the perfect heigh of the seat would be when the pilot's (eg. CPT's left elbow) is at a 90 degree angle when holding the side-stick?

I hope I make sense in what I am asking and hopefully some people may be kind enough to either help with measurements or offer me their opinion?
