Looking for a specific part
Hi everyone,
I am trying to track down something that I've heard described as a "mechanical encoder". This is basically a rotary encoder that appears to your PC as two switches and does not require special circuitry like a rotary encoder board to get it to work. The encoder outputs two digital signals only, button 1 and button 2. You turn it one way and button 1 will light up every detent. You turn it the other and button 2 will light up.
Does anyone have a link to this elusive little doodad???
THANKS!
