Complete A300 Cockpit for sale - fully instrumented!
Hi Guys,
just thought I'd mention that I'm selling a complete A300 cockpit with NOTHING removed - completely fitted.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=250863160175
Please excuse me if this is unwanted here, I dont mean to spam, but I didnt find any general "for sale" forum on this fantastic site.
regards,
Ethan

It looks like it came from a simulator?

Yes, as the ebay description states, it was taken from a simulator.

okay some ebay dorkheads who dont know the difference between "wire transfer" and "instant cash service like western union" deleted the auction.
it's still on the German site though: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...m=250861881828

Hi
Nice Cockpit, good luck selling it. To bad it is not a Boeing, and the price is way to high.
Cheers Norbert

feel free to make an offer... i realize the price is a little on the high side but all those working instruments do have their value.

Re: Complete A300 Cockpit for sale - fully instrumented!
I could also offer the cockpit shell alone, stripped of all panels, instruments, switches, etc. (like cockpits are usually offered) much cheaper, and sell the instruments seperately, but that would be a shame...

I think 90% of the fun involved with this hobby is building the sim yourself. I don't see the appeal of buying a fully kitted out simulator and be flying the next day.
I would sell the parts seperately, although I think you would struggle to get anywhere near that price.
Allan.

Re: Complete A300 Cockpit for sale - fully instrumented!
The instruments and controls still need to be interfaced to the Sim software, and a visual built, I would think that is plenty of work for a hobby. I see no appeal in buying an empty shell with no panels, floor, seats, windows, NOTHING left inside and then spending years collecting all the parts back again bit by bit... Except maybe it spreads the total spendings over that time, but I'm pretty sure you wouldnt end up spending less in total (that is, if you want real working instruments and not just a flatscreen monitor behind the panel holes)

Well, I think this sim would still keep you busy for quite a while and give you lots of satisfaction. It's a shame that it will probably be broken up, but keeping in mide that it is a hobby you need to have a very understanding wife considering this one-time investment.
Wish I had the money and the space...
