Modification of 1pole 12 position rotary switch to work as encoder with BU0836X
Hello All,
i have a 12 position (30°) rotary switch with a single pin A. Which pins do i have to solder together to get a 2 bit encoder ? I found the explanation on Ian´s page which explains the modification for a 2 pole 6 position switch. On Link it is explained how to modify a 1 pole 12 pos switch and connect it to a OC Mastercard. But in this case they get 4 wires (?) and i want to connect my encoder to a BU0386X which needs 3 wires.
Maybe anyone gave give me a "straight for stupid people" instruction wat pins to solder together to get a 1 pole 12 pos rotary switch connected to the BU0836X card working as a encoder ?
Cheers
Andy.

Hello All,
i still would be very thankfull for any input on this matter. I am running out of inputs on the BU cards - so i need to get my 1 pole 12 pos switches to work as an encoder....
Cheers
