Enthusiasts in the UK - New here
Hi all. Me and my Dad are avid FS fans and want to build our own cockpit. No idea on budget yet, but space shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure I'll be picking your brains shortly....we fly the PMDG 737 NG. Based in Derbyshire UK

Re: Enthusiasts in the UK - New here
hello darren.......
welcome..... there are a lot of us old 'die hards' still flying the PMDG. in fact my cockpit is built around it until we see the NGX.
you can virtually make it do anything with a little bit of skill and imagination
anytime you want to come and have a look, just ask. http://www.737ng.co.uk
or, i've got a colleague in macclesfield who is is getting into his build if you want me to put you in touch.
regards

Re: Enthusiasts in the UK - New here
Ian - Thanks for that. I've already been looking at your site- a fantastic achievement. My Dad knows a bit about electronics which will help. It would be fantastic to come and have a look at what you've done - think we need to do a bit of thinking and research ourselves to get a feel for the budget/complexity. Seems to me that the key principle is to build slowly, but leave the ability to add stuff on without having to rebuild. More questions to follow (!) but if you could put me in touch with the Macc chap, that would be great
