I have an Acer 4520 laptop
which came with Vista. I installed a full version Win7 as a upgrade, much to my sorrow. I want it removed without loosing everything but 7. Can this be done? Thanks.

If you used an official Microsoft CD (like the one you get with new laptops or computer purchased between June and dec 2009) then you should be able to uninstall or roll back the installation. HERE is a quick how to, if it does not suit your install just Google "windows 7 uninstall' or something similar.

I now have Win7 on my laptop and I must admit I really like it.

Yes it is possible,

but, if you has Microsoft vista CD than you do this very easily if not so first you have to but this. And run that CD when you start laptop and format you laptop and install new operation system {Vista}.
