My 727 project
Maybe some of you will remember my 747-400 cockpit. It was really awesome but it didn't really give the kick i was searching for. After seeing some youtube 727 landings and some beautiful projects, my new geal was a 727 pit.
I added some pics below hope you enjoy them. My pc crashed with action shots. I really like to show you the pics with the beamer and the working gauges. Hope I get to show you them soon. I found a old pic but there the cockpit is not painted.
As you can see the annunciators are just some wooden blocks painted in the right color. I'm 16 years old and have a weekly income of 20 euro. You proberly would understand that a full working cockpit is way out of my league. But still the result so far is pretty amazing right?
Other great news. Like many of you i want to be an airline pilot too. A few months ago i did a test in a 737 ng sim with three real pilots watching me. The result of that test was perfect. That's when i realized that my dream really is comming true. My parents and I lately visited a school wich really impressed us. When i finnished my school in 2010 june I most likely start working on my dream!!

Re: My 727 project
Thank you sir,
Hope you join 727 club some day. It's really a shame there only 3 or 4 builders. It really is a amazing aircraft and wonderful to fly. Hearing those wheels hit the tarmac really gives a kick.

Re: My 727 project
Welcome to the 727 club, Stijn. Yes, the 727 is an aircraft worth building and flying (especially on the sim) since there is a lot of hands-on-flying like on a little prop and at the same time you get flying to places (VATSIM, IVAO). Reminds me of putting some pics of my project here, too.
