737 Seats
I have managed to acquire a pair of 737 flightdeck seats however I have no knowledge of how to renovate them. Does anyone have any experience they could share, especially with the hydraulics? One of the seats works fine but the other does not and they are slightly different models.

Usually all these seats, even when they have electric adjustments, can be moved manually as a backup. Try that, but very often too they need tons of WD-40!!
I got two L1011 Weber electric seats and asked the manufacturer for the Overhaul manuals. They did sent it ( PDF)

Its been a while since I have worked on those seats. I will have to take a look tonight at work to refresh my memory but its sound like your hydrolock is either broken or stuck. Try bathing the seats mechanicals in wd40 or similar as suggested and let it sit. Also if you colud post some pics of trouble spots of the seat that would help as we can then focus on that and I can point you to the right parts to remove or replace.
