Revisiting the 2 dots above the Terr on ND push button...

A couple years ago I asked for some clarification on the 2 dots above the Terr on ND push button on the Main instrument Panel.
The answer accordingly was that they had no function and do not light up.

Now that I have managed to obtained a genuine autobrake panel I have been able to open up the Terr on ND pb.

Strangely enough there are bulbs present in all 4 slots.

    The mystery continues...

there probably are four bulbs in ALL korry types indicator and switches, because this way it is simpler and less expensive to replace them when needed?

    Hi,
I think Jeehell is right. When they put bulbs in korry's they don't check the front legend indicia. However sometimes you will also found plastic plugs instead of bulbs on the 2 dots.

To be 100% sure and end the mystery you can check the wiring at the back. You will see that there are only four wires. Two for switch contact and two for ON signal.

    Happy NY,
    Simon
