CRJ 200 at home - progress of my project
Dear All,
From December 2012 I'm working on CRJ-200 home cockpit.
At the begining I would have only throttle quadrant, but during my work on it, I decided to build something more.
My cockpit is in fact low-cost project, it means, that most things are hand-made.
My project based on:
X-plane 10+
CRJ-200 by J.Rollon - (great plane!!)
XHSI (in the future I would like to customize it a little bit for CRJ) or I try to ask my coleaques to write new soft for it,
input hardware - hand-made: Mjoy16 and Mjoy encoders - in next month I will have three new input plates - DMkeys8 by DAMOS (more in Google)
output hardware - hand-made: SimOUT XL (Polish project for Simbuilders);
and temporarly: Saitek Pro flight equipment.
In the next steps, I would like to build:
synchronizes Yoke colums;
seats for captain and F/O with buttkickers (or subwoofers) inside
More work on panels and hardware
CDU - in progress
Now I'm working on Autopilot Panel and CDU.
I have my blog in Wordpress about this project - I put there description about every updates in my cockpit.

All I can say is... wow. I only have one panel, and the output's aren't even finished yet. I've already spent about $110. How much has this cost you so far?

Re: CRJ 200 at home - progress of my project
Dear All,
As usual there were not enough time to make significant progress, because of my work abroad, but I've started to develop some glass cockpit software for CRJ.
Now my and my colleague from IT have prepared some POC - some IT code, xml's and PNG files.
Goal is to build user friendly software, easy to edit for CRJ builders or even for other not very common planes.
Please find below link to my blog, where You can find some screenshots and picture:http://crj200athome.wordpress.com/20...ocpit-project/
Enjoy
