    World Flight 2008

    Gents,

    For those of you on VATSIM or IVAO for that matter.. I just posted this to our more than 25000 members in Europe.

    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

    Some 36 hours to go to the 2008 world flight. Whilst is may not touch us much in Europe this year it is still THE most endearing yearly reoccurring event and an inspiration for all of us, whether for new or seasoned Pilots or ATCO's.

    This event makes us all want to join up, or start to build a home cockpit or provide professional ATCO service.

    We all live in a privileged world with access and facilities which we take for granted, yet there are many who are not as lucky or as healthy as we are.

    Here are two good PR links, guys, spread the word and if any of you or your members feel like making a contribution, be it as Pilot, ATCO or Donor then a difference will have been made.

    World Flight is fund raising event for charity. It is held over just one week at the beginning of November each year. Just to be clear, it is not a job, and it is only for one week.
