    Angry Korry switches?

Hi, I am a young airbus simmer and I was trying to find a cheap overhead. Sadly one does not exist. So I will be building my own overhead panel. My question to you is does anyone know where I can get an a320 switch set (all of the switches). I only need the switches not the aluminum panel cover. Please remember I am on a budget so the cheaper the better.

    Thanks

    DIY Korry Switches

Add these to a BBI-32 or similar and an output card of your choice and you're all set.

How much did it cost you?

    Re: Korry switches?

The HS748 doesn't have them, so I'm not using them. DIY is always the cheapest option. Bear in mind that most of the cost in pre-made parts are "labor" costs. I can't estimate a cost, because you by the materials in bulk to make the Korrys, but if you can't afford to go this route, you might need to think about a different aircraft. How much have you done already?

Do you think you could make airbus a320 overhead style switches for me?

You'd be surprised- Korry switches are really not all that tough to make. I just use square aluminum tubing with silkscreen printed labels and two led's. With a little practice, I'm sure that you could get some great results.

First of all, I thought you were trying to save money, and yet you're asking someone you don't know to do a custom service for you.
Second of all, did you even look at the link I sent in my post? It gives very clear directions.

I'm too busy working on my own cockpit to build things for you, regardless of how much you would pay me. Plus, I have a feeling that this won't be the only thing you would ask others to do.

    Re: Korry switches?

Yuup. I will also go this week to get required parts to start building my own korries. The complete set over at OC looks good but it's so expensive, I rather invest that money in an p&p mcdu/ as complete mcdu kit as possible.

the korry tutorial linked above is quite extensive but does anyone have any additional building tips?
