My Growing Boeing
Hi all,
I am very pleased to announce the arrival of our latest new addition to the family on Saturday the 15th of October, weighing in at 5.2 Kilograms. She has 3 feet and only one eye and blows a bit of wind, but the result is outstanding.
At long last my sim has a projector! http://www.epson.com.au/products/projector/emptw600.asp
My sim frame is 1.4metres wide and my forward view is 1.7metres wide and it gave me a vertigo buzz first ride, It works great! Bye, bye 19" monitor...
More pics coming soon.

Hi Gwyn,
Congratulations on the addition to your Flight-Sim project family. I hope the new little critter will give you much joy and happiness for years to come

I've been sitting here in my study admiring this beautiful piece of work and design. I'm just full of admiration. Then I read some good news about a new maybe-flightsimmer being born. Gongratulations from Norway to Gwyn and family.
Regards Paul Thomas
PS. My 3 year old grand-daughter also enjoy flightsimming.

Wow, that is some amazing work! I'm floored.

The growing Boeing
Thanks again guys for the +ve comments.
I haven't done too much to the sim since the projector arrived 3 weeks ago as I can't stop flying it! A 94" picture is amazing, it's exceeded my expectations and I'm very pleased with the Epson EMP-TW600.
The sim will be moving from the storeroom into the house soon and I will be switching to rear projection so I can commence building the roof section, can anyone tell me of a material to make the projection screen from that will display the image clearly on both sides? My sim will be at one end of a long room with the other end of the room becoming a home theatre, that's the plan anyway! When the sim is dismantled and removed from the storeroom I will get better pictures of it's construction.

I've heard of very good results using at least a 300 thread count white sheet.
You might want to experiment with something on-hand before investing in a quality king-size top sheet or two.
