I realize this is a very old thread but can anybody tell me where to connect the 24V for the solenoids to work?

I am the OP of this thread. I haven't been here in a LONG time. My SP50 head is still installed in the center control stand and is wired. It's a PITA to pull because of the wiring so I can't tell you. Experimenting with a 24VDC power supply on the solenoid contacts will not damage anything.
I'll see if i can dig up some photos. STBY.
