And all this time I thought you were only very good at woodworking :p. :D But it looks like you are very multi-talented indeed. Now I have something good to copy when I eventually attempt to tackle my yokes.

I try to do my best here. My assembly is heavy and it sure improves the feeling. Still lots of work to do. But I enjoy this little project very much:)
The gas cylinders pressure is 15kg. Then cut a aluminium tube and made a nylon "piston" which I attached to the end of gas cylinder. Also made a nylon "bushing" which you can see at the end of the alu tube for guiding the cylinder.
So to tight up the cylinders against each other, I just turn the alu-tubes around. Then I can fine adjust so there is practically no "slipping" in the mechanism. On the yoke, there is maximum 1mm slip in the movement. Very tight:)
I can also adjust the force on the yokes very easy. On the "triangular" plates where the cylinders are attached, there are 4 more holes where I can attach the cylinders. Thats how I can adjust the force if I want to:)
(Not sure if the word "slip" is the right one, but hope you understand what I mean:)) Please learn me some new words, hehe.

I can make a rough tutorial if you like me to do it. I have a few drawings that I made. But as always, I have modified my drawings when building;)
I like to finish the elevator first. Then I make some drawings.
Will try to get it done in the upcoming weekend:)

Are you sure this is a SIM you are building? With that kind of structure, just add engines and off you go! Great work!
Here in the US we say 'play' Ex: The wheel has too much 'play' in it.
Or some say 'slop'. Ex: The steering is 'sloppy'.
If you make a tutorial, a video would be very nice to post on the video site. You could explain what you did and how you make adjustments to it.

When I put together a tutorial, I will try to make a video description. Very good idea.
The metal I used is maybe overkill for the strenght. But I dont think the weight is an issue for this assembly. Better to be sure, hehe.
