Boeing 737 engine display and cockpit sonic throttle quadrant issue

Hi all,

Working through problems with my friends sim. He is using a cockpit sonic throttle quadrant with magenta engine display. The issue we have found is that when both throttles are placed in the same position the engines are revving differently as displayed on engine display. Does anyone know of this issue is there a way to calibrate it out.

Reasonably frustrated now can someone at least point me in the right direction.
