Hi,
WideFMGSserver.exe must be run on the Server computer. WideFMGS.exe must be run on the clients PCs. Do not mix up.

Hello JL,
i have installed newest version included all updates. I have the following problem:
- NDs (FO, Captain) crashes after view seconds
- All display/modules are flashing in a period of 1 second after a view seconds of running software
I am running all via network.
NavData was created with configure.exe on ServerPC (no Navdata on Clients)
Do you have any idea?
Best regards
MArco
Hi Marco,
Can you check CPU and network usage in the process manager? What are your computers specs?
Do you have any security software running which may block anything? (firewalls, antivirus, etc...)
JL
Hello JL,
CPU Usage of each networking PC is 25 upto 75 % in idle.... depends on where modules are running.
Networkusage is at 1% in idle at each networking pc.
I did a clean new installation of each networking pc now and for the moment there are no problems.
Windows firewall is running and Antivirus.
Best regards
Marco
EDIT: one thing is important..... when i go to settings page, no matter which modules setting page, it shows flashing "connected to fmgs" and "not connected to fmgs".... in a period of 500ms....
Now I tryed to roll a bit on the airport... playing with fcu makes hardware connect crashes and fcu got flashing and chaning values and led states....(after hardwareconnect crash)
restarting hardware connect doesn work.
Server shows now that nothing except EFIS FO and sound midules are connected.... all other modules lost connection.... very strange....
restaring client pcs doesnt change anything.... so hardware connect causes server crash as well....
This is strange. If I remember correctly, you use the FDS module?

Hi,
just wanted to bring this thing up once more because I had the same issue at that time. In the meantime I made some nice flights, but the issue was back yesterday: AFLOOR with a kind of frozen FCU, also no joystick input possible.
Maybe anyone had the same again or has any idea?
Thanks
Stefan
Hi!
I had that problem on last two fligths.

EDIT: I just installed SP4 for ASE and made a short test flight - no A.FLOOR problem.
I don't know if there is a connection between ASE and this problem but I will do few more testes asap
