New 737NG Driver in Maryland

Hi fellow flight simmers,



At last, after so many years of desktop flight simming ( FS5.0 to present) I have decided to begin the construction of a 737 Simulator. One thing is for sure, this website is an awesome place to share the beauty of flight simming and meet new friends. I am very space limited but I will work my way around so I can satisfy the need for flying enjoying the nice views. Anyway, keep 'em flying and enjoy the ride.

Hi Pedro and welcome to MyCockpit.org. Check out my website as I have dual linked control yokes and there is a heap of information on how i did it there. I also recommend the use of Dodiano's fibreglass yokes available from Innovative FS products, the are high quality at a good price too.

That looks really nice so far.. I really like the seats... did you draw up any plans for those? If so would you be willing to share with a fellow builder..? I think they really sharp... Nice design...

Hi there, let me see what I can do for you. I do not have plans for the seats, well I found a plan on the internet and I took some ideas from it and made my own design. The seat has to come apart anyway so I can use the parts as template to build the copilot's, while I do that I will try to take pics and measurements (including part angles) for you. The original Boeing material for the seat cushions can be purchased from Spectra Aviation. $50 USD per yard. You'll need two.

Sorry but I have not being able to make the plans for the seats. I will be using the one as a template, yep, I have to take it apart. Lately I have been busy and away from home and as soon as the temperature start to get to a higher "Flight Level" (humm, temp inversion?) I will start the project.
