Don't know if it just me, but when I click on any link in the Links page I get these errors: That is for all links e.g. Boeing, Airbus etc.
"41.219.108.93 Unable to locate /forums/air-shows-31/http://www.mycockpit.org/links/index.php 404 "

I clicked all the way through to the Boeing 707 site without encountering said or any other problem. FYI.
I still have the problem.
I tried IE, Google Chrome and Firefox, they all do this. I even disabled Antivirus and Firewall still the same. Isn't there anything wrong on my profile maybe?
Does the web server log shows this error maybe?
I'm having the same problem. Hope this get fixed soon.
I've now tried from another Internet Service Provider and different access method on a different PC . I still get the problem. I am sure that this problem exists. Maybe an IP filter or related web scripts are causing these errors.
Please look into this further? Half of the functions on this web is unusable for me (and others) due to this. (Edit: Half is a bit much, but it sure feels like a lot)
Can more people please test this for us?
It would be helpful to know where the link resides, providing a full URL to the link. I'm assuming you are referring to links within a post.

Hi Matt
1) On the Main menu Links page http://www.mycockpit.org/links/index.php: I refer to all links in that page. Also all the Sub-Menu items in the Green menu bar when the Links page is active ( Submit A Link, Link To Us, What's New, What's Popular, Search). Typical error message as in post #1.
2) Below the Links page there are 2 sections: 5 Newest Links and Random Links. They are also mis-behaving.
The errors I get is something like this: "41.63.213.11 Unable to locate /forums/showlink.php?do=goto&l=414&linkurl=tomschik.athttp://www.mycockpit.org/links/index.php 404 " (This is the only text on the page, no logos, menu's, ads etc.)
The HTML code for the page is:
The rest of the site, all the links that is posted within forum posts are working 100%HTML Code:41.63.213.11
Unable to locate
/forums/showlink.php?do=goto&l=414&linkurl=tomschik.athttp://www.mycockpit.org/links/index.php
404

Matt, I figured out what is going wrong with the Links. Now you just have to figure out why and how to fix it.
When clicking on Links in the Links page, they are prefixed with /forums/ instead of /links/. To give you an example: If I click on Boeing, the URL in the address bar points to http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/boeing-73/ hence the error "41.63.235.11 Unable to locate /forums/boeing-73/http://www.mycockpit.org/links/index.php 404". If i now edit the URL in the address bar to: http://www.mycockpit.org/links/boeing-73/ it works 100%.
I believe this to be a setup problem in the Links module.
I still can't figure out why Efe didn't experience this problem. Maybe you don't experience this problem since you have administrator access. Maybe that is why ElektroPR is also experiencing this problem.
I'm glad you figured it out. Links is a third party plugin, and I've not renewed our support for quite some time and it's a section of MyCockpit that has not been used very much. This does seem to be a familiar problem and it's within the plugin script. I'll do my best to get it corrected.
Thanks again for letting me know the detailed problem.

I've put a order in to have the LINKS page upgraded to it's latest version and fix errors. Hopefully within the next few days.
Matt Olieman
The LINKS section of MyCockpit site has been upgraded and fully functional.

The links are working 100% now, but now I can't see a LINKS link on the menu. It looks like the search edit box is in front of it. I checked on IE and Chrome.
You either have a small monitor or have the resolution set low. ;)
If the case is not as the above, stretch the browser window to the right until the links button shows.

I am running 1024x768. It's Ok then, I will try later on a widescreen.
Thanks very much for you help and effort fixing this for us and also thanks for the hard work you guys put in, in general.
