Dehavilland Beaver Home Cockpit to Scale
Hey guys: I have searched a few cockpit building forums and sites and I maybe one of the few or the only one to do a DHC 2 beaver build or any of the DHC 2,3 or 6 family.:( Aug.08 I started my DIY cockpit, from hundreds of photos and measurements from a real beaver cockpit. Measuring 48" wide and 4'8" high 3/4 veneer plywood and 1/8 veneer mahogany. Equipped with the Pro Flight yoke, throttle quadraint, pedals and switch control panel installed in the cockpit. Complimented with a Acer 22" and a Dell 19" monitors. Here are some pics

Re: Dehavilland Beaver Home Cockpit to Scale
Awesome. I am planning to build such a cockpit myself. Are there any contructions plan you can support me with either DHC2 or Twin Otter?
Especially for the wood construction.
Would be great, I will keep you updated of the progress.

Since posting these pics of my beaver cockpit, I've had at least 5-6 fellow builders with the same interest. The summer has been a busy one between working and flying in with fishermen on weekends. Starting to slow down and catching up. I am working on a package to share with my fellow beaver builders. I've also began scaleing a full beaver from firewall to rear section cargo area. Measuring 52"wide 66" high and 96" long. It will be awesome. Please bare with me, will contact my interested fellow builders with PM
Take care Bushman:cool:
Re: Dehavilland Beaver Home Cockpit to Scale
about your project you can use one computer then connect two monitors one for your oter view and the another one is for your instruments or you can use simkits instead then buy a USB hub so you can use alot of those radios and other stuff that doesn't give you a headache instead of tweaking the difficult and complicated stuff like connecting one pc 2 another
