Hi Joe, hi all!
This video (covering a flight from KSFO to KSAN) has been produced by a friend of mine, Philipp Bauer, in our 737NG fixed base simulator located here in Vienna/Austria.
You are free to download a high res version (135MB) of this video here:
http://www.fly737.com/media/fly737_3Mbps.zip
Enjoy!
Thanks for the link Joe that is a very nice video. ahhh one day!
Awesome video. I'm really looking forward to the day, when my sim will look like this beauty.:D
(Still long a way to go)
Regards
Excellent video, thanks for brining it to our attention Joe :)
BTW, did you get a sneak peak at their other videos?
Wow!!! now thats a nice set up. I would like to see what programs they are running. And is that on a motion platform or just fun camera work.
No it's a fixed base one! But banking the camera a little bit during the turn .... ;)
But I can tell you, even if it's fixed base! Many of our guests in the cockpit grab their armrests in the turn or some ask for a little white paper bag ... it is astonishing, how the brain produces the illusion of movement!
Asking for software: Project Magenta and Tempest
> pmSystems
> PM GC
> PM CDU
> PM RCDU
> TEMPEST (the own software of COCKPITSONIC, a company we're official dealer in Austria, Czech Republic, Slowakia, Hungary and Slovenia now).
Cheers
Yupe will love to see how the visuals are done!
Regards,
Roberto
Projection is made by three beamer via an analog Matrox "TripleHead2Go" on a projection wall in front of the cockpit. The projection is three times 180 x 135 cm (Ratio 4:3) which gives a total projection surface of 480 x 135 cm.
Any chance we could get pics of the setup?
Regards
Here we go (pictures were made during construction)!
