Today I had the same problem
(Address already in use (#10048 in Bind))
while running the first time (the main computer with FSX). I did a restart of the main PC and the problem disappeared. Now everything works fine.
Hi JL,
yes, WideFMGS works on client PCs but I can't get displays working. I'll try to use different ports if it helps...
Tommi
EDIT:
Changed ports to 8100 and 8101 and now it's working.
Thanks and regards,
Tommi
Hmm ok.
I will maybe change the default port again to 8003 and 8004, apparently those never had any conflict in previous version of my soft!
JL
Hi Again JL,
I'm sorry that I complain all the time but there seem to be about 5 sec delay in commands. For example when I enter some values to MCDU it take 4 to 5 seconds before it shoes on display. Same with thrust levers...

Hi
Try to close the sound module. Also avoid to use the WPT/VOR/NDB display on the ND.
What is the configuration of your setup?(which soft on which computer)
JL
A small update to correct sound module issues, and also the flight model which you need to reinstall again:

Hi JL,
turned off sound module, no change at first but after few minutes it seems to be little smmother.
There is long warming up time :)
My config is following:
PC1 (W7, 64bit, FS9) Overhead soft
PC2 (XP) PFD & ND & MCDU
PC3 (XP) EWD & SD

Hi
Is it smooth enough or still lagging too much?
Can you check the CPU usage when its lagging to know where the problem might be?
JL
Hi JL,
I think it is smooth enough. And after restart of computer, it feels better right after start.
WideFMGS is disconnecting between server and clients every now and then. Maybe lagging is caused by that?
