Re: A320 FMGS beta 24
It is defined as the point you'd pass at 1500ft after departure, so the software takes VS of around 2000ft/min after the end of rwy to calculate it. I'm sure it's not duplicated in the SID, which must have a wrong wpt in it. I will try to look at it, which airac do you use? (or maybe email me your EDDM.SID.txt file).
Edit: I did not read your post carefully enough sorry:oops:
Then its leveld/navigraph fault. The max bank inside leveld's data is not related to the max bank feature we discussed earlier. This will come in B26, if everything goes smooth.

Re: A320 FMGS beta 24
Hi JL,
I just took a more detailed look at the nav file. All of the SIDs (at least at EDDM) contain this strange "1900" point as 1st WP. I assume its also some sort of auto point for LEVEL D in case you dont select any SID??? No clue. But the points are still shown even their lat&long positions are both zero.
<Latitude>0.000000</Latitude>
<Longitude>0.000000</Longitude>
but the type is:
<Type>ConstHdgtoAlt</Type>
I am aware that this waypoint defined max bank does not define the max. possible bank of the 320 depending on altitude, mach and alpha.
Is it possible to exclude this type of "ConstHdgtoAlt" waypoint and only keep the "normal" ones? Or to check the angle from 1st to 2nd waypoint. if its 180deg... exclude it... ???
Where else do you use this type of WP?

Re: A320 FMGS beta 24
Hi,
The ConstHdgtoAlt wpt means the acft keeps runway axis until reaching the altitude defined for the wpt, here 1900ft. The problem with this kind of WPT is that it's hard to know exactly at what rate the acft will climb... and some SID really needs this kind of WPT as well. For now, I suggest you manually delete the point when it's obvious it's not where it's supposed to be...

A320 FMGS beta 25
Hello,
The version B25 is now available for download here
I mainly worked on the network communication side of the software and on other inner workings of the soft, which should slightly increase performance and stability.
Please note the appearance of WideFMGS and WideFMGSserver applications, required for the networking.
Also, you need to manually re-install the FS aircraft and the fonts provided in the package.
Best regards,
Jean Luc

Re: A320 FMGS beta 25
Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't try it before Sunday :( But I am excited!!
2 things for B24 anyways which you might want to add on your todo list:
- even the GPWS has not been touched on the OH and being OFF, I still get the callouts. Is that normal??
- the APU should shut down when DC power loss (BATs OFF when airplane on batteries only) and the Fault light on the APU switch should come ON
Thank you, JL!

Re: A320 FMGS beta 25
Hi Rob,
There are some issues with GPWS/EGPWS warning, it is on my to do lsit already.
As for the APU, I will add that to the to do list thx!

Re: A320 FMGS beta 25
Hi,
After installing on the server computer, the WideFMGSserver.exe file should be located in FMGS\WideFMGS folder.
On the client computers you should have only WideFMGS.exe;
If you launch with the starter, it should launch the WideFMGS (server and client) automatically?
Check the starter.ini has this entry on Server PC:
wideFMGSserver=yes
wideFMGS=no
and on Clients PC:
wideFMGSserver=no
wideFMGS=yes

Re: A320 FMGS beta 25
Hi!
When starting WideFMGS.exe I get this error message:
Address already in use (#10048 in Bind)
When clicking OK, starts WideFMGS...
