Hi Isak,
i have the same Problem, when go to the TOGA.
No Route in the ND MCDU its ok.
It happend yesterday on a flight from LKPR to EDDF. Today I tried the same flight and whenever I changed the route, there was no update on the ND. I will try other flights and report back.
What is the route? (complete SID - route - STAR - APPR, CRZ LVL, CI, weights). Do you enter the arrival STAR and APPR before the problem occurs?
I just noticed, that while on ground (at the gate and engines not running), I can change the route and do get an update on the ND. So maybe this only happens in flight?
Here is the info you asked for:
I alway enter a complete route with STAR and APPR before departure.
Flight from LKPR to EDDF
CRZ FL: 240
CI: 30 (I use 30 for all my flights)
Weights: See attached TOPCAT-image what data where exported to the Sim.
The route yesterday:
LKPR Rwy 24
SID: BALTU 3A
ATC-Route: BALTU L984 OKG N869 NIBIL
Route in the MCDU (after entering the above airways):
BALTU
DOPOV
DONAD
OKG
RONIG
NOGRA
NIBIL
Arrival:
EDDF Rwy 25R
STAR: KERAX 2L
VIA: MTR
The route had no discontinuties.
During departure ATC gave me vectors and then a direct to waypoint OKG. Then no update on the ND. Later ATC cleared me for the Rwy 25L via the PSA 25S RNAV transition. ND still showed me the original route, however the aircraft flew the new route and also tuned the ILS for the Rwy 25L.
Today I entered exactly the same route. But this time I entered directly the Rwy 25L via PSA 25S. I tried another DIRECT TO and also switched to 25R with KERAX 2L via MTR. And again no update on the ND. Everything is correct in the MCDU.
Best regards,
Isak

hi all,
just giving my 2 cents experience with b46:
made a CLEAN install of new version; re-checked fmgs config and redefined some axis which were not recognised from old Acontrols.cfg; made the soft rebuild the navdata database (i.e. deleted old navdata folder and at first startup let soft create new bin files then transferred to client pc as usual); checked dll.xml and simpatcher was correctly inserted from installer (pls note p3d creates two dll.xml files, the valid and used one is in appdata/roaming/LM folder and not the one in programdata folder....after this made a test flight and EVERYTHING was perfect. no double entries in addon dropdown menu, no problem taxing with idle thrust (better than before), no problema with direct to and route drawing....aircraft model a LOT better than before thx jl!!! now u have to calculate when to decelerate the plane for the approach: u won't be allowed to descend and decelerate at the same time!!! (as it is in real aircraft and became too easy in b45)
regards

If you use topcat, be careful as it may cause issues with loading of weight.
In the flight model, the declared DOW is much less than the actual A320 DOW (TOPCAT probably raises a warning about this one).
THis is because of some internal tweaking of the model. The software uses two additional loading stations (called "adjustement") to move the CG aft/FWD depending on some parameters. These must NOT be changed from the default aircraft.cfg, or it can cause issues (I believe TOPCAT sets those to 0kg, which is NOT correct).

Coming back to taxi problem again (the one that needed significant power to maintain taxi), I didn't change anything and it just went away, didn't even restart the computer. I would have thought it was just me, but at least one more person reported it so I don't know what to think. Well, if it doesn't come back I don't bother.
My biggest problem now is that I'm completely loosing flights for anything unrelated to P3D/JH, trivial or not, that goes on my computer. For example today as I was about to commence my descend flying online, skype updated itself and immediately after that JH lost the connection to the simulator (no speeds, no fuel, JL thinking engines were out, checklists coming up, etc).
Before B46 I could reset this error by restarting FSXConnect.exe, unfortunately this doesn't work anymore and I can't figure out how to get back the connection to FS. I've lost 4 flights out of around 10 I did the past days, fortunately the first two while still on the ground, but in the air it's so much disappointment. It happens if I toggle P3D to full screen, or turning windows defender off, etc. I try not to change anything but some times it's out of my control (like what skype did).
Another issue I discovered is that the default FS pushback turn (Shift-P + 1/2) takes a huge circle and in most airports causes me to miss my intended taxiway by far. In Prague it will taxi me into the gates across mine and push me back far into inside the terminal. Is there anyway I can change that myself or is it embedded in the aircraft air file?
It seems only you have issues with full screen mode as far as I know?
I have tried myself, and I can not reproduce it. It could be related to many other applications. For instance, I have similar issues when accessing the P3D computer with teamviewer... it just crashes the Simconnect connection.
In your case, something is crshing the simconnect connection, and it happens when P3D loses focus apparently. Do you have any application in particular which messes around with windows/fonts/themes?
Push back : I have no idea. Never palyed with this kind of stuff.

In TOPCAT I use the "A320-214 PRO JeeHell FMGS" configuration file provided from "ToTom". With that configuration file, I do not get any error message from TOPCAT when exporting the payload and fuel to FSX.
Before I started using "ToTom"s file, I did get a warning message about different DOW settings between TOPCAT and the aircraft.cfg file.
Do you think that the configuration file from "ToTom" is not suitable anymore for the new version B46?
