New versions of FSUIPC and WideFS
Pete,
A very HAPPY camper here...after installing the new FSUIPC and WideFS
files....my LAN that also uses WideView over 5 other CPU's is running SMOOTHER and
FASTER than ever!!!!
I have specified the use of UDP in the server and the clients....and while
flying through clouds...or in and around clouds....the former frame rates of
the clients just about DOUBLED themselves!!!
I don't understand your magic....but I like it. grin.
Regards,
Mel

Glad it works so well for you. It certainly seems to vary a lot -- some
notice no differences.

New versions of FSUIPC and WideFS
Pete,
I just noticed another enhancement of the seemingly....well
knowlingly....faster exchange of data between my server and the clients.
I am on a flight between Spokane WA and Seattle....just passing through a
cold frontal area....and encountering turbulence......previously....my server
view for the Captain would "rock and roll" for the horizon....and the
clients would do the same...but NOT always right in sequence....they would lag
just a bit...and it was noticeable for realism.
This morning....those horizons are right in synch....proof to me that there
was a huge improvement in the data exchange rates of WideView.
Regards,
Mel
