Re: new pc - OC modules connected on usb, pc won't boot
Hi Gwyn,
This is very interesting as I have had a keen interest to upgrade and thought I would use Asus.
I have noted from two other people going back to when the Z87 was young. These people could not get
the asus board to recognize O/C cards. One person swapped out the motherboard for the exact same type
but it still had the same problem. He returned the motherboard and got a different brand z87 and all was ok.
So when I upgrade Asus wont be on my list.

I have the same problem with this config:
- an Asus motherboard
- only one Pokeys card connected on a USB port
- Windows 7 64-bit
- if I do not replug the card after booting, FS2004 crashes during initialisation
- this started to happen suddenly. I must have made some change that caused it but cannot recall what..
Hi,
I haven't got a solution until now. Also the USB Hub was not solving the issue. The interesting thing was that via the USB hub the card won't get recognized by windows, only it was discovered for an unknown device. :-(

Have a similar problem, with one of my IOCARDS-KEYS, sometimes becomes an unknown device, whatever PC I test it, but this comes ramdomly. Will buy another from OC (as this card is integrated into the FMC V1)
