Re: Pc Upgrade Q's......
Hi All....
Because my budget is limited I ended up going with the E7600 Core 2 Duo CPU which is 2 x 3.06GHz, which is an extreme upgrade as compared to my naff Dual Core E2200 which is a mere 2.20GHz, will sell my old CPU to buy an extra 2GB of Rendition RAM which will take me up to 4GB.
My PC is going to be a real FS9 screamer!
I will let you know the results!
Cheers,
Alex

Re: Pc Upgrade Q's......
New Update:
Was having problems with the E7600 CPU, it kept on crashing, blinking, blue screen messages, and was just re-setting itself! The PC would not completely shut down, so I knew there was something up!
It turns out the my Motherboard doesn't accept the E7600, but accepts the E7400 and E7500.
So the CPU has been sold on ebay (after listing it for one hour). I sold it for £50 and is putting another £30 towards it to get the E8400 which IS supported!
Lets see how this goes, this CPU is a 3.00GHz x 2 chip (Core 2 Duo).
