Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
Hi Alvaro,
the problem you have are outdated scenery files for this airport. I had the same problem with EDDF.
Please note, that also changed ILS frequencies could make stupid the ILS approach.
Search the web for free or payware scenery files for this airport and compare it with the actual charts.
The charts and the AIRAC cycle you use should be on the same time base.
best, Frank
Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
Hi Frank,
The frequency is the same for the current chart (109.7). I will try to find an updated scenery and post the updates on this subject.
Many thanks,
Alvaro
Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
I did not check yet, but not only the ILS freq needs to be correct, it looks for ILS ID, RWY QFU and a few others.
Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
I had the same problem before. However follow Jeehell advise, to recreate .bin files after new addon scenery is installed, the LOC is well aligned.
Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
There is also this way, I have used it to edit EDDL's G/S Transmitter coordinates:
1. Use ILS Inspector/Editor (http://www.aero.sors.fr/navaids.html) on the Server and make your changes on the airport and runway compared to the actual AIRAC and charts.
2. Delete all BIN files in the directory of the FMGS server.
3. Start the FMGS server, new BIN files (10 pcs.) are created after a short time (based on the used AIRAC and the changed (point 1.) scenery files)
4. Copy the BIN files to the FMGS directory on all PC's which are displaying a ND. (in my case one for the CPT and one for the FO)
With the ILS Inspector/Editor you can change / edit ILS frequency, ident, geo coordinates for LOC or G/S transmitter, runway parameters, PAPI and much more. The tool can also compare your installed sceneries with the actual AIRAC and shows you missconfigurations. This one you should edit if you are using this airport.

With EDDF I believe you can fix the problem by putting this in additional.txt in the NAVDATA folder and rebuilding:

Re: LOC Misaligned in SPJC
For the original problem renewal of the . Bin files should be sufficient. I have had the same issue
