arduino for relay to stick shaker

Hi, I have an md11 stick shaker that uses 28vdc i purchased a 24vdc power supply and plan on connecting it to a relay that is connected to an arduino. I am wondering if anyone else has done this with a stick shaker and would be willing to share the code. Also if anyone has done this id love some help. I understand that the arduino is limited to 5 volts. Would this be possible with an arduino or do i need a FDS-SYS-R1X from cockpit solutions. I read that it was successfully done with this card.
