no panels on all planes

fx crashed retored to previous time then it gave a fatal error and would not start reloaded and now i do not have any 2d panels 3d panels do come up but when i load a stock plane you get the outside view but no panel. need help i loaded sp1 and sp2 and then my troubles began

I am sure you have pressed W to bring up the 2d panels?
It is so obvious but you never know :-)
