Hi Guys,
I have seen a mention by a new member today about the BAe146.
I dont know much about the availability of software, panels, hardware etc So i thought i would start this thread and share ones knowledge to see if there is in fact any available.
I hear alot from my colleagues who comment they would love to build a BAe 146 cockpit but dont know if there is anything available.
If I was going to build one I would build one based on one of the last produces "RJX" series, very clean design and many parts used straight of the 737NG.
I have also seen throttle levers on ebay a few times, but very easy to make as they have no reverse thrust :) and the overhead switches ive seen for sale in places like B&Q ( UK version of home depot)

The worlds best way to turn J1a into Noise.. I mean really, why put 4 small engines on a small airplane when 2 bigger ones would have worked, and been much quieter and cheaper LOL..
An airline pilot friend who flew them told me the story of a '146 that crashed after a dive at over twice VNE. Apparently every single piece of the aircraft was still attached at point of impact.....so they do have their good points :roll:

If it wasn't so clearly a '146, I'd swear someone filmed my last landing!!! :(
It is a sweet looking cockpit though. I didn't realise the 146 was updated to such a modern standard. Could be a good alternative RJ platform particularly given the 737 similarity.

hey trevor you got me on that one, why the 4 engines ???
What about software ? is there any around that can be used for sim building ?
